Puente de la Constitución de 1812

Spain’s longest bridge, the Puente de la Constitución de 1812, is a cable-stayed bridge with a total length of 3.095 m and a width of 34 m, the height is 69m. This bridge connects the city of Cadiz with the city of Puerto Real, which is situated in the south-east of the bay of Cadiz. Construction started in 2007 and the official opening was in September 2015.
HALFEN HBS elements connect the different sections of the bridge. The whole system is made of special reinforcement steel and is seismic tested and certified. Installed in the central, steel section of the bridge the HBS reinforcement provides safe connection with the concrete, access ramp sections of the structure.
