Responsibilities:
- Identify, contact and develop industrial key customers with global potential
- Manage named industrial accounts globally and across borders
- Manage interface between international sales, distribution and the industrial customer
- Maximize profitable and repeatable growth globally to become top 3 in a segment/ region
- Drive price harmonization per account globally and across HALFEN sales subsidiaries
- Be present in the regional global markets at customer events, shows and seminars
- Monitoring of sales plans and prepare monthly reports
- Administer sales pipeline and improve opportunities for sales
Competencies:
- Mechanical Engineer, University degree (or comparable), proven in the area of mechanical and plant engineering
- 5-10 years experience in industrial application, across regions
- > 3 Years experience in consultative Engineering Sales
- Managing of large global key accounts (e.g. experience in the acquisition of large-scale-projects)
- Successful cooperation with OEM customers to profitable growth
- Understands the linkage between purchasers, influencers and the buying customer
- Fluent in German and very good spoken and written English (a 3rd language is an advantage)
- Capable to prepare, present, advise & sell technical solutions anywhere in the world
- Experience in various CRM systems
- Able to generate leads, close deals and set up distributors globally
- Continued development training on modern industrial engineering
- Preparation and successful international roll out of a
commercial excellence initiative (e.g. customer approach)
