FRS – Frame restraint system
The use of light gauge, galvanized steel, structural infill systems enables contractors to quickly and economically produce a weather tight building. The HALFEN FRS frame restraint system offers a quick and economical way of restraining brickwork back to light gauge steel studding. The FRS system is installed after the insulation and boarding has been installed. The FRS channel is fixed vertically at the locations of the steel studding. The FRS ties are face entered into the channel and the vertical slot allows the ties to be positioned in the appropriate mortar course.

FRS stainless steel ties: Specifically designed to fit the FRS channel. Available in lengths from 100mm to 200mm
