Bossard Arena
Zug, Switzerland

The Bossard Arena is home to the only National League ice stadium in Switzerland to date with a certified Minergie standard and an efficient security package. The arena, which has an outdoor ice rink facility, is part of the Bossard site that structurally merges with the Uptown high-rise building.
The Bossard Arena, designed by Scheitlin Syfrig + Architekten AG, Lucerne, can accommodate 7015 spectators, and has a ticket office, dressing rooms, an administration suite and a downstairs restaurant. Along with the new stadium, Zug now has a spacious public square and, with the addition of the Uptown Sky Lounge, which is 18 storeys high, a lookout point with a panoramic view of the city, lake and mountains.
HALFEN supplied the tried and tested HALFEN Cast-in anchor channels which were used in various areas of the stadium.
The HALFEN Cast-in channels used in the stadium in conjunction with prefabricated elements offer, among other things, a technically quick, safe and simple basis, for the variable mounting of seats. The HALFEN Channels are cast in all the way through each reinforced concrete element, and secured with the HALFEN Screws, thus ensuring the flexible adjustment and use of the seats.
