Ancon Wall Ties & Restraint Fixings
Wall ties and restraint fixings are an essential element in the stability of masonry panels.
Leviat manufactures Ancon fixings in a variety of lengths and types for restraining brickwork, blockwork and stonework. The Ancon Staifix range of wall ties includes solutions for all types of masonry construction including traditional brick-to-block, thin-joint blockwork and timber frames.

Heavy duty type 1 tie to PD 6697
The Ancon ST1 is suitable for cavities from 50mm to 225mm and can be used for all types of building of any height, anywhere in the British Isles. The section that spans the cavity has a series of holes to provide water drips. This allows the same tie to be used in insulated cavities as well as open cavities.
The ST1 is UKCA and CE Marked.

Medium duty type 2 tie to PD 6697
The Ancon Staifix RT2 is suitable for cavities from 50mm to 150mm and can be used in the construction of domestic houses and small commercial buildings up to 15 metres in height. Altitude and wind speed restrictions may apply.
The RT2 is UKCA and CE Marked.

Light duty type 4 tie to PD 6697
The Ancon Staifix HRT4 is suitable for cavities from 50mm to 150mm and can be used in the construction of domestic houses up to 10 metres in height. Altitude and wind speed restrictions may apply.
The HRT4 is also suitable for internal separating (party) walls of new-build attached dwellings with cavities from 50mm to 150mm.

The Ancon PPS tie is used across movement joints in masonry walls and is available in the following lengths: 175, 225 and 250mm.

The Ancon PPB tie is used across movement joints in masonry walls and is available in the following lengths: 125, 150, 175, 200 and 225mm. PPB-HD is a heavy duty version of the PPB.

Ancon SDB Frame Cramps used as cavity wall ties exceed the requirements of a Type 2 tie to PD 6697: 2019 for lengths up to 300mm. They have a 7mm diameter hole to suit a range of fixings.
The Ancon SDB is available in the following lengths: 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 275 and 300mm.

The Ancon 25/14 system is designed to tie brickwork to steel, including SFS studwork.
Self-drilling high-thread screws fix through the channel and the insulation, into the steel. Once the channel is installed, Ancon SD25 wall ties can be positioned at any point along its length and are built into the bed joints of the outer leaf of brickwork.
The 25/14 restraint system is supplied in lengths of 2700mm and 3000mm and is UKCA and CE Marked.

Ancon SD25 wall ties are suitable for use with the Ancon 25/14 Restraint System. They are available in lengths from 100mm to 300mm to suit open cavities up to 259mm.

Ancon debonding sleeves are available for use with Ancon movement ties. A 120mm long sleeve will provide an allowance for movement and tolerance, and will be suitable for most applications. Other lengths and sizes available to special order.
