Connection of precast elements
Quick and efficient installation is a decisive factor to ensure cost-effective building with precast concrete elements. This is where dependable quality and cost and time-efficient connections are important – like the HALFEN HVL System. In combination with embedded HALFEN HTA-CE Cast-in channels, for example, standard wall elements or sandwich panel elements can be connected to columns.

Fixing of a sandwich panel element to a column
The HVL precast connection consists of a HVL-M Assembly part and a HVL-E Installation component.
Assembly part: HVL-M pre-assembled, consists of:
- Serrated hammer-head strap
- 1 serrated counter-plate
- 2 bolt sets
(Bolt HS 38/17 - M12 × 50 + washer + tapered compressed spring)
Installation component 1: HVL-E, consists of:
HALFEN Cast-in channel HTA 38/17-300-SK with 2 bolt anchors and loop end anchor
Installation component 2: consists of:
HALFEN Cast-in channel HTA-CE 38/17-150 with 2 bolt anchors

- Hammer-head strap, HALFEN Cast-in channel: hot-dip galvanized
- HALFEN Bolts, nuts, washers, springs: galvanized
- These parts are covered by mortar after installation
