Horizontal anchors
Versatile application
We have different versions of horizontal anchors for a wide variety of boundary conditions – including the WDK/WDI Wind anchor made of plastic or stainless steel, HKZ Restraint ties, LD Adjustable restraints, SPV Restraint with turnbuckle, HFV Dowel restraints and ULZ Universal ties.
The horizontal anchors are used for horizontal support of façade panels.
A distinction is made between the following functions:
- Horizontal anchors to transfer the pressure and tension loads in panels that are aligned in parallel or at right angels
- Horizontal anchors to align panels arranged above or next to each other with Dowel restraints
Product selection is based on load, dimensions, spacing distance and accessibility. We have a wide range of anchors with different load groups for this applications.

DS Spacer bolts, LD Adjustable restraints, HFV Dowel restraints, WDK/WDI Wind anchors in stainless steel or plastic, HKZ Restraint ties, SPV Restraint with turnbuckle and ULZ Universal ties.

- Wall cavity 60-300 mm
- Tension load capacity FRd ≤ 9.0 kN
- Assumed compression load depends on the spacer bolt

- Serrated hammer-head restraint
- Three-dimensional adjustability when fixed to HALFEN Cast-in channels embedded at right angles.
- Load capacity FRd ≤ 16.8 kN
