Palais Quartier

The „Palais Quartier“ inner-city project is made up of four buildings set on a common underground garage. The four buildings consist of two high-rise buildings, a retail centre and the re-built Thurn and Taxis Palais. The tallest of the high-rise buildings with 35 floors is used as office space; the 24 floor building is used as a Hotel.

The façades of both high-rise buildings are mainly glass curtain wall. These are fixed to the main sub-structure using HALFEN Cast-in channels HTA installed to form a regular grid.
All façade elements are fixed to the sub-structure with a top of slab connection. HALFEN also supplied a number of HALFEN Cast-in channels for corner elements.
