Stade Jean-Bouin
The stadium Jean-Bouin in Paris was designed specifically as a rugby stadium by Rudy Ricciotti, a well-known contemporary French architect.
Technically unique in the world, is the DUCTAL façade by Lafarge which is fixed to the metal structure using HALFEN FPA.
A giant 3D-Puzzle of 20.000 m² made up of 3.357 concrete elements with a length of up to 9 meters.
The FPA-System proved prefect for the job which also benefited from the expertise of the technical engineers at CSTB.
In view of the complexity and the requirements of the project and in co-operation with the prefabricator, HALFEN engineering developed a technical solution, to achieve the unique demands.
