Residential Building Höjdpunkten
Lerum, Sweden
The Höjdpunkten residential building was inspired by the surrounding natural environment. The irregular, octagonal house changes its appearance depending on the elevation. The façade of the building changes in character depending on the season and the weather. Crushed recycled glass in the façade causes the building to shimmer in various hues of bright or subdued reflection.
The DETAN Tension rod system was used to support the balconies, adding to the aesthetic design of the building; an overall simple, sleek and stylish solution.
