Environmental product declarations (EPD) provide transparent assessment data to evaluate the sustainability of a building and its life span. To this end the Institute for Construction and Environment e.V. provides independently certified detailed information with environmental product declarations (EPD) for the original HALFEN Cast-in channel and the HIT Insulated connection.
Health Product Declarations (HPD) complement the information we provide on sustainability. The HPDs include a list of all components and information on the health effects of these components. With the new HPD for hot-dip galvanized HALFEN Cast-in channel you are able to attain possible credit in the LEED v4 points system.

De milieuproductverklaring, kort EPD® (Environmental Product Declaration) biedt transparante en gecontroleerde ecologische gegevens voor het evalueren van de duurzaamheid van een gebouw. Zij vormen de basis voor een ecologische beoordeling van gebouwen conform DIN EN 15978. De verklaringen zijn internationaal overeengekomen; ze zijn gebaseerd op de ISO-normen (ISO 14025; ISO 14040ff) en de Europese norm DIN EN 15804.
De EPD - verklaring voor de HALFEN rail HTA-CE en HZA werd tijdens de vakbeurs BAU 2017 in München uitgereikt door het Institut für Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (IBU).

te halen in het LEED v4 punten systeem.
