The Miejski Stadion is a football stadium in Wroclaw, Poland.
The ultramodern stadium with its sloped grandstands was built especially for the European championships EURO 2012. Construction started in November 2008 and was completed in September 2011. The stadium has a seating capacity of 42,771.
All of the seats of the seating-only-stadium are covered and provide a clear, unobstructed view of the pitch. The architects designed generous grandstands that consist largely of continuous spectator seating and meet the highest architectural standards. The unique method of construction ensures a lively atmosphere. The stadium was opened on the 10th of September 2011 with a (WBC) world championship heavyweight boxing match between the Ukrainian world champion Vitali Klitschko and the Polish challenger Tomasz Adamek.
HALFEN delivered HALFEN HBT Rebend connections, HALFEN Channels and the HALFEN HSD-CRET Shear Dowel System for the Miejski Stadion.
