DATEV IT-Campus

In April 2015 after two years of construction, the DATEV eG officially opened its IT-Campus on Fürther Straße in Nuremberg. Approximately 110 engineering, planning and construction companies were involved in this project. HALFEN supplied shear rails as well as rebend connections for this project.
The Campus, designed with a simple and reduced structure covers an area of approximately 24,000 square metres and has space for 1,800 work units as well as a further 200 rooms in various sizes for individual use, consultation and meetings. Four inner-courtyards, an idea thought up by the employees, with as overall area of 3.060 square metres provide space to meet and congregate. Further green-spaces will be finished by summer 2015; these will also be accessible to the general public during the day.
